Since the launch of the Mizuno JPX900 Tour Irons, there’s been an increasing number of players on European Tour putting them in play. Brooks Koepka winning this years US Open with a set in the bag probably prompted even more players to give them a try.
Mizuno have been a big hit on tour this year, but not entirely because of Brooks Koepka’s US Open victory. The recent launch of the new MP-18 line up of Irons has grabbed everyone’s attention and put Mizuno back in the driving seat as the preferred “iron of choice” on tour. Recent surveys carried out on tour asking the players…. “contract money aside” what irons would you want to play “by choice”? Mizuno was top of the pile.
